Marksmanship

Our Squadron participates in the Cadet Marksmanship Program.

The Cadet Marksmanship Program is a challenging and competitive sports program accessible to all cadets. It develops skills through superior training and Olympic-style competition. This is why every year, thousands of cadets participate nationwide in this fun and rewarding program.

Cadets have the opportunity to participate in a series of competitions at the local level that conclude in provincial/territorial competitions and an annual National Cadet Marksmanship Championship.

Our Squadron has had long reaped the benefits of competitive marksmanship programs at the local, zone, and provincial levels. Whether you’re are aiming for success achievement or just participating in a challenging sport - there are many ways to successfully hit your target!

  • Zone 6 (Niagara) Champions 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2006;
  • Provincial competition appearances in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001.

Train with the Best!

  • Training is offered and supervised by qualified coaches and Officers;
  • Training material will be provided for each cadet participating in the marksmanship program;
  • Our own air rifle range located locally allow for weekly practices and competitions.

Rifles

The Squadron trains with the approved pump action Daisy/Aventi 853c Air Rifle which ideal for Cadets of all ages.

Interested in Marksmanship?

Once you have enrolled in the program and have your Safe Handling course complete then attend any open practice session and you too can become a marksman!
